Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QSW)


Each year, Québec receives thousands of immigrant workers whose skills respond to particular market needs and make it easier for them to find work. Perhaps you could also have this opportunity. Quebec has a different immigration system, unlike other provinces in Canada. The province of Quebec selects its own candidates for immigration, without the federal immigration system.


  • Education / Age
  • Have at least 6 months of relevant work experience in the past five years
  • English or French language skill
  • Full time, Permanent job offer from Quebec employer
  • Any connection to Quebec through family/relatives
  • Proof of financial self-sufficiency

Programme de l’expérience Québécoicse (PEQ)


PEQ is a Quebec experience program divided into two categories: Quebec graduate program and Skilled temporary foreign worker. Unlike other provincial nominee programs (PNP) that require proving either English or French language skills, PEQ requires the applicant to have intermediate knowledge of French.

Quebec Graduate Program
  • Graduation from college/university in Quebec
  • Advanced intermediate knowledge of oral French
Skilled Temporary Foreign Worker
  • At least 1 year experience of working full-time in a position under NOC level of 0, A, or B.
  • Advanced intermediate knowledge of oral French
